Greensboro, NC- The votes have been counted and on October 16th goTriad announced the winners of the 2008 Readers Choice Awards. For the second year in a row, the award for Best Day Spa goes to...Balance Day Spa.
Balance Day Spa wants to extend their appreciation to the Triad community for their support and votes. "Receiving this award two years in a row is amazing. This is the best award we can receive because it comes directly from our clients," says owner Adriane Witcher. Everyone at Balance Day Spa was thrilled to receive the news of this year's winners. "It makes me feel proud to work for a company that has that kind of reputation," says Wellness Enthusiast Jessica Irwin. Balance Day Spa was also voted as runner up for Best Massage Therapy, Best Nail Salon and Best Tanning Salon.
Since its inception in 1996, Balance Day Spa has had the reputation of being the premiere day spa and massage therapy practice in Greensboro. Spa owners Adriane and Doug Witcher, who purchased the business in 2005, saw great potential and opportunity in Balance and from the very beginning have dedicated themselves to promoting relaxation and wellness while making it possible for thousands to enjoy the inner rewards of outer restoration. So far this year in our Greensboro location alone we have served more the twenty-five thousand clients, a number we are proud to watch grow every year.
With the addition of our two new locations in the Triad (Kernersville, opened 9/8/07 and Burlington, opened 2/2/08), we now have a total of 15,000 square feet, forty treatment rooms, more than seventy different treatments and services, and over 60 employees.
